The Precious Orb and Dhāraṇī’s Boundless Power – Witnessed the Three Sages of the South Liberate the Great Suffering from Hell

Since A Yu decided to write the book The Hadean Law Is Pitiless, there has been a lot of hindrances. When we want to undertake some work to purify the mind of people and to persuade people to do good deeds, we will definitely be confronted various challenges, but the true and pure heart of goodness is absolutely not afraid of any challenges and hindrances.

A Yu firmly believes to maintain the true and pure heart of upholding the precepts, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will definitely assist to overcome the hindrances, there are various hindrances trying to make me not write The Hadean Law Is Pitiless. 

When I began writing at the start, there were particularly a lot of obstructions. Originally I already did not get much sleep and the non-humans always disturbed me while I was sleeping to consume my energy. Later I realized their objectives, so I did not contend with the non-humans anymore; wasting my energy affected me writing the book because to write The Hadean Law Is Pitiless I need to be in the best state.

Recently I had some physical pain and I needed to self-strengthen my mind power. Today A Yu will handle all the obstructions and the physically pain to become the motivation for cultivation, may all the obstructions and tribulations of all sentient beings below the heaven realm, be transformed into motivation for A Yu’s cultivation.

Prostrate to all the patriarchal teachers and the great sagas who practice the Proper Dharma to gain the great perfections!

Prostrate to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions! Prostrate to the great Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!

Today A Yu will break the hindrances by inheriting Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s divinity and blessing to go to hell to visit Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva saving and conveying the sentient beings in hell! beings in hell!

Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Namo great vow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Namo great vow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Namo great vow Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! 

A Yu also needs to imitate Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in saving and conveying the suffering sentient beings to leave the abyss of misery. The Hadean Law Is Pitiless must be published as soon as possible, to make the sentient beings who went astray in the human world to turn from their evil ways, to renounce evil and turn to virtue, and to restore the congenital spiritual brightness as soon as possible.

Grateful to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva for the powerful blessing! Set off by the white lotus!

I arrived in the hell! Prostrated to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva! Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva smiled with compassion! The Bodhisattva is always compassionate, emitting the great brightness! Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva now appeared as a compassionate monk, sitting in the full lotus position.

This time the color of the lotus Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sat on was cyan. It is the first time I saw Bodhisattva sitting on the cyan lotus. The Bodhisattva left hand held a precious pink orb and the right hand held the golden monk’s staff, on the side there was a cavalier called Di Ting. On the Bodhisattva’s left side stood Dharma Master Dao Ming and on the right side stood Dharma Protector Min Gong. A Yu prostrated to the Dharma Master and the Dharma Protector!

This time I entered the hell directly with the divinity and assistance of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and did not pass any other routes of the hell. We looked down from the air; the position I stood was under Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, meaning I was close to the hell. I could already hear the mournful shouting and I saw Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva emit the light of blessing.

Dharma Master Dao Ming told me this hell is called Shouting Hell. Today Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva came to this hell to save one guilty spirit to exalt. What great meritorious rewards this spirit has to be able to receive Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s compassion!

Dharma Master Dao Ming said it is because the posterity of this guilty spirit chant The Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows day and night to attract Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to come. This guilty spirit was once a monk in one of his previous lives, because in his monastic life he did not purely uphold the precepts so he did not get the deliverance. Then later he was born into a rich family in the human world and began to deprave, after he committed the sexual misconduct precept he fell into the hell. 

Here Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva signaled Dharma Protector Min Gong to go down. Dharma Protector Min Gong went down to tell the two ghost guards that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva wanted to meet the male guilty spirit xxx. Soon the ghost guards abstracted a suffering sanguinary shaking male guilty spirit. He was such pain he could not speak. In short, he did not look like a ghost at all, even more unlike a human being, he was a very fragile spirit and his situation just felt like he would be blown away to anywhere by the wind.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva disclosed to the male spirit, “Today A Yu from the human world came to the hell to visit to write a virtuous book The Hadean Law Is Pitiless assigned by the Hadean prefecture to save and convert the sentient beings in the human world, to make them uphold the five precepts and ten good virtues and purify the mind, to do good deeds to accumulate merits to avoid getting the suffering hell retribution after the life has finished. Now you inform A Yu, how did you come to the hell? And what are your feelings now?

The male spirit nodded his head but could not speak. At that moment, Dharma Master Dao Ming took the precious pink orb from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s hand and descended it beside the guilty spirit. The Dharma Master chanted the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s Dharmakaya seal mantra very fast, “Om, pramardane, svāhā.” The precious orb immediately emitted the great brightness, irradiating the entire Shouting Hell and the suffering of this hell suddenly paused and abated. The mind and body of all the guilty spirits suddenly felt peaceful and calm. The male spirit immediately did not suffer any more, it seemed like a strong warm current passed through his body, then he could finally speak and even I felt the warmth from the blessing as well. 

The male spirit said he committed the sexual misconduct and he was jealous of a lay person because the lay person practiced the Proper Dharma, discontent with the lay person who could spread the Proper Dharma everywhere and was respected by people, so he slandered this lay person’s precept as not being pure and due to his defamation it caused a lot of believers to leave and disconnect their practice of wisdom. Although he usually practiced the Buddhist Dharma, yet at the end of his life he still fell into the hell to receive the retribution and was in extreme anguish every second. Fortunately, his son in the human world has now grown up and has already begun to learn the Buddhist Dharma and chants The Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows very diligently every day to transfer the merits to him. 

Then the male spirit kneeled on the ground, crying loudly and said, “The great compassionate Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, please help me out, in here the suffering is unbearable! I will definitely have a fresh start to atone my crimes by good deeds. I swear to practice the Proper Dharma, protect and uphold the Proper Dharma every life; please help me out. Even my child now knows to be filial piety by chanting The Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows every day and transfer the merits to me, but I made the hell consequences. I also want to reincarnate in the human world every life to purely uphold the precepts and to be a good person in the human world to contribute to the society.” 

With the assistance of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva it caused the guilty spirit to remember he, himself, once recited the saint name of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, at that point he continuously recited Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in his mind and the light from his heart became brighter. The male spirit also found the body began to get lighter, so he continuously recited Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva more and more. His body began to float upward. A Yu asked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, “Why can this male spirit exalt so fast?”

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva disclosed, “Though when the male spirit was the monk he didn’t purely uphold the precepts, but he once purely upheld the bhiksu precepts and just because of this merit he was born in an affluent family for seven lives in the human world and had children who were filial piety. However, in the seventh life after he committed the sexual misconduct and slandering, he fell into the hell to be punished. The reason for him to exalt this time is because of the great transfer power from his filial piety son who does good deeds and accumulates merits and raises the great aspiration for enlightenment in the human world for him, coupled with the male spirit himself sincerely repenting. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas won’t give up any one sentient being who can be converted. 

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also said after this male spirit has reincarnated in the human world, he would continue to receive the remaining retribution of the sexual misconduct and slandering, also to be a female who would get retribution of divorcing and people would not believe the truth she says, but after this male spirit reincarnates to be a female, she would definitely practice the Buddhist Dharma. If she can firmly have the confidence to practice, protect and uphold the Proper Dharma and implement the promise she made in the hell, then her spiritual body will gradually restore the light.

Look at the second female spirit of this hell. The ghost guards abstracted the female spirit. Dharma Master Dao Ming chanted the dhāraṇī and the precious orb emitted the light again to assist the female spirit. This female spirit’s body was worse, so the Dharma Master had to chant for longer. Through the blessing of the Dharma power, the female spirit started to recover the ability to speak.

She said when alive she was acrimonious speaking to everyone. She was especially jealous of the step-child born from the ex-wife of her husband and often beat and abused the child to bleed. The child fainted because of starvation then she beat the child to death. She was also unfilial to her mother-in-law. In addition to evil treatment, she even beat her mother-in-law’s head. Sometimes her mother-in-law was beaten that badly by her that her head broke and bled. Her mother-in-law dared not to say that she was beaten by the daughter-in-law for harmony of the family and ultimately the elder died from excess of anger.

The elder and the child reported to Yama’s judgment hall. When the life was finished in addition to her being sentenced to the Shouting Hell, she was also sentenced to be punished in other hells. She has just arrived in the Shouting Hell she was already in extreme suffering, how is she going to overcome the later days? 

The female spirit also kneeled on the ground and begged Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to save her from the hell. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva disclosed to her, “If you now known it would come to this, you would have acted differently, this is Yama’s decree.

Among all the good deeds, filial piety comes first. Yama most respects the people who are filial piety in the human world. Fulfilling the filial piety duty to the parents for the whole life could not repay the nurturing compassion from the parents, how dare you maltreat.

Impiety is the crime which wouldn’t be assoiled in the hadean law. You should vigorously repent. Heaven has the virtue of cherishing life. The child of your husband’s ex-wife lost his mother which is already a deficiency of the heart and you should devote your attention and utmost care as though it is your own child to make up for the child’s deficiency of the heart. However, you went as far as beating and abusing your step- child and even made the child faint by starvation and beaten to death. To beat the unarmed little child to death is really evil-minded. The cause leads to the effect. Need to vigorously repent. Only you can help yourself.” 

The female painfully kneeled on the ground begging for mercy and said, “Bodhisattva save me! I kowtow to you. When alive no one could talk about my shortcomings and if there was anyone who said one sentence about my faults I would abuse and even fight with them. I liked beating their heads because beating the head can cause them to faint then I would win. I liked winning and never admitting defeat. After listening to the remarks of the Bodhisattva, I have realized I have committed a serious fault. I admit the mistakes, please save me Bodhisattva! I want to leave the hell.” Then the ghost guards took the female spirits back to where she came from.

I saw the heart brightness of the female spirit was not as dim as before, but it was still not bright enough. Then I asked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, “Does that female spirit definitely need to receive all the hell retribution before she can leave the hell?”

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva disclosed, “The karma of today will lead her to practice when she meets the Proper Dharma after reincarnation in the human world, but that will happen in the very distant future. Now, the seed of good karma should be planted first!”

Gratefully thank the disclosure by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, it is like the ghee and sweet dew filling the body and mind!
