Amitabha! A Yu joined the palms together to honor the Osiris!

The Osiris said, “A Yu! You haven’t come here for a while now!”

“Yes, Osiris! A Yu is ashamed. Recently I was busy with mundane issues. I should learn from the Osiris to serve the sentient beings day and night, in the future I will come here more often.”

Today A Yu liked to ask for the Osiris some questions regarding the aborted baby spirits.

”Please let me know the Osiris, whether the baby spirits in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead can get the merits from their mothers in the human world by chanting sutras and releasing animals? Which sutra is the best to be chanted? How many times does the sutras need to be chanted to have effect? Where does the baby spirits go after receiving the merits? Is there a need to arrange the tablet, burn incenses or listen to the chanting sutras for the baby spirits at home or temple? Is it useful? Will the baby spirits grow up in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead? How do they live?”

The Osiris said, “The baby spirits do get the merits. We will distribute the merits to the baby spirits according to the transfer of merits from all good deeds the parents or the family members did in the human world. For example, releasing animals, chanting sutras, worshipping the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, making donations, constructing roads and bridges etc. The more merits transferred, the more merits the baby spirits will receive accordingly. The less merits transferred, the less merits the baby spirits will receive accordingly.

The merit size of every benefaction is based on the benefactor’s starting point, namely when the benefactors do good deeds to help the sentient beings leave the suffering and gain happiness, help the needed and relieve the distressed, never ask for anything in return, no obstructions in the mind after the benefaction, then the merits will be received automatically and the merits will be enormous and boundless.

If to transfer the enormous and boundless merits to the baby spirits in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead, the baby spirits will definitely exalt to the good realms within 49 days after the date of abortion. Speaking of the distribution of the merits, if there are 7 merit points, the benefactor in the human world occupies 6 points and the baby spirits in the nether world prefecture will get 1 point.”

“As for the sutra, the most suitable sutra to chant is The Sutra of Bodhisattva Kṣitigarbha’s Fundamental Vows to release souls from purgatory. Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva vows with infinite mercy and compassion, “I vow not to become a Buddha if the hell is not empty.” Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva has the most affinity with the sentient beings in hell. The sutra must be chanted at least 49 times. This is amongst the fastest exaltation case in our nether world prefecture record. By just chanting The Sutra of Bodhisattva Kṣitigarbha’s Fundamental Vows 49 times, in addition the aborted mother continually vowed to do good deeds, her baby spirit had already exalted. Later, this mother in the human world had become a true Buddhist practitioner to help both others and herself. The abortion is calculated from the first day, until the 49th day of exaltation. However, there are very few abortion mothers in the human world, practically one in a million.Currently the baby spirits coming to the nether world prefecture almost all are unclaimed. There are too little abortion parents in the human world who are willing to repent with a sincere heart! A lot of people think they cannot see anything so they presumed nothing happened, in fact they are wrong. These baby spirits in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead spend every day suffering. Their parents in the human world did not want to solve this resentment problem, this resentment will only increase with the passage of time. When the merits of their parents are consumed, it is time when the karma converges, the baby spirits will definitely come to repay the vengeance, and in the hell the parents cannot escape from the pitiless of the Hadean Law. From that time onwards, the sweet happiness will come bitter suffering. As to how the karmic retribution is received it is a long story. All sorts of diseases are likely to occur from head to toe, even bereavement and so on.”

“The quantity of merits are different for each baby spirit because the feeling of gratitude or resentment in each individual is different, so naturally the resolving period needed is different. If they came to repay an obligation then it will be better, but there is new resentment from being aborted so it becomes entangled in feelings of gratitude or resentment. We can create new feelings of gratitude or resentment at any moment. If they came to repay the resentment then it will be disasters piled up on one another in succession and unbearable pain.”

“When the baby spirits receive the merits they will exalt and leave from The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead of the nether world prefecture according to their own karma. The exaltation situation can be roughly divided into three kinds. The first kind is the baby spirits who have enough merits can exalt to the Western Pure Land, but there are very few of these kinds that can exalt to the Western Pure Land. The second kind, some baby spirits can exalt to heaven to be a celestial. The third kind, some baby spirits can exalt to human realm.  Whether it is the Western Pure Land, heaven or the human world, there will be differences according to the baby spirits’ own karma. There are 9 stages of the lotus flowers in the Western Pure Land. There are differences in desire realm, form realm and non-form realm as well, and in the human world there are also differences between the rich and poor. Where the baby spirit will go after receiving the merits depends on how much merits the aborted parents have in the human world and whether there are sufficient merits to be distributed to the baby spirit to exalt. The earlier the baby spirit exalts to the human world, the earlier the disasters of the aborted parents can be solved. Hope all the parents who have aborted before repent from their heart for the bad karma from the abortion as soon as possible, do good deeds in large quantity to accumulate merits to liberate the pitiful biological baby spirits from agony in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead.”

“Speaking of the issue regarding arrangement of the tablet for the baby spirit, the parents-to-be do not need to arrange the tablet at home and this action will only delay the exaltation of the baby spirit, it may even provoke other spirits to the tablet. As for the arrangement of the tablet in the temple, burning the incenses and listening to the sutras, to do these are certainly efficacious, but the temple must be pure, following the ethics and following the Buddhist Dharma; only this way is efficacious for the baby spirits to exalt. Currently in the human world there are many places claiming to be such-and-such temple, the venerables have high wisdom and special ability to liberate the baby spirits from agony etc. Observing what they have done, it is in fact an act of scamming peoples’ money. The consigners only waste money, time and energy; even and provoke demon possession. Because the aborted baby spirits’ resentment are to all parents-to-be in the human world. Whoever started the trouble should end it; it is better to repent with one’s sincere heart rather than to give money to ask others to help repent for the baby spirits, the efficacy will be much faster and better.

When the baby spirits came to The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead after the abortion, most of them had the appearance of a 6 month-old baby body and afterwards they will maintain this appearance for when they reincarnate into the human realm or exalt to other realms. The baby spirits live by touching the food in The City of the Undeserved Crying Dead. If the parents-to-be worship and make offerings to the baby spirits, the baby spirits can absorb the essence of food. Unfortunately, no one worships these abandoned baby spirits at all, only pain accompanies them so every day they suffer and cry. The hatred mind of the baby spirits will continue to secretly deplete the merits of their parents. Once the parents’ lives in the human world are over, they will suffer entanglement with the feeling of resentment. So I would like to advise all sentient beings do not have abortion. Those who have aborted before must do good deeds to accumulate the merits to atone for their crime by meritorious service. If this Hadean Law information is pass on to others, and it makes the guilty people sincerely repentant, the Hades’ prefecture will reduce the offence of the propagandist.
